MJS Construction (March) Ltd were contracted to undertake the entire groundworks and civils package for this contract. This involved construction of all foul and surface water drainage, all external paving, construction of dock levelers and lorry park, all roadways and ducting along with a high tolerance powerfloated concrete floor slab of over 5000m2 with integral cooling system and thermal insulation. This contract lasted over 12 months and involved careful and frequent design and value engineering meetings with the Dutch clients and enabled all to deliver a project, safely and efficiently.
