MJS were awarded this city centre project based on an innovative build solution and improved construction programme for the client. The project, located on the site of the former Bingo Hall on All Saints Green in the heart of Norwich was logistically challenging. MJS works scope included all substructure works, construction of the foundations, all below ground drainage and attenuation tank works. We then also undertook the 5m deep connections into the road for both foul and surface water systems. The works then continued above ground and MJS completed the 13 storey concrete frame comprising of two lift cores, 2 stairs cores and supply and installation of over 60 flights of precast stairs and landings. This scheme was constructed with high tolerance, exposed floors and soffits and was completed in only 35 weeks.
