MJS were contracted to carry out the civil works package for the power plant extension. This consisted of bulk earthworks, buried services, ducts, drainage and earth network, MJS were able to use their experience to sequence the installation of a complicated network of underground services to achieve a highly efficient operation. MJS also constructed the concrete structure elements of the project including the engine hall, radiator slab, transformer enclosures with 8m high walls and multiple smaller slabs and structures, again MJS used their experience and knowledge to sequence this work ensuring the client achieved or bettered all milestones whilst maintaining an effective and safe construction process.
