Holt, North Norfolk - Gresham School - New STEAM Building

MJS were contracted to carry out the groundworks package to the new STEAM Building funded by Sir James Dyson.

The works consisted of reinforced foundations and ground floor slab, a basement plantroom and storage area, upper floor toppings and external works including permeable paving, kerbs, bespoke concrete benches/plinths and elements of soft landscaping.

MJS used their experience and knowledge to advise and lead the site and design team to the use of shotcrete and a re-design of the basement roof which allowed early removal of the basement propping scheme and the build programme to be maintained.
